If you're a golf enthusiast, you'll want to circle your calendar for the Callaway Pebble Beach Invitational held each November. This unique pro-am tournament is free to the public and features professionals for the PGA tour, LPGA tour, Senior tour and Nationwide Tour. Past champions include Johnny Miller, Rocco Mediate and John Daley, just to name a few. This event usually features a nice mix of veterans and up and coming tour professionals and is Played at Pebble Beach, Cypress and Del Monte Golf courses. After the 54 hole cut the top 30 professionals play the final round at Pebble Beach on Sunday with $60,000 going to the winner. We attended this year on a picturesque Saturday at Pebble Beach. There were no ropes and no hassles as we walked the fairways with the tour professionals and amateurs. We were so impressed by how friendly and engaging the tour professionals were. Our highlight of the day was walking up the 18th fairway with Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey. Tommy Gainey was the winner of Golf Channel's Big Break VII and has had a break out year on the PGA tour currently ranked #35 on the 2011 money list. Truly one of the nicest golfers on the tour.
