Just returned from a magical morning. My husband and I had breakfast at Jeffrey's Grill in Mid-Valley. They have one of the best Eggs Benedict around, next to Deetjen's in Big Sur! Actually, everything on the menu is fantastic, but I'm in a eggs bennie rut.
After eating, we went for a hike at Garland Park, just five minutes east. There's a storm blowing in and the trees were swaying with the gusts of wind. Luckily the rain held off long enough to walk off the breakfast. What a great start to the day! And only fifteen minutes east of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
